Job description
Job requires tending to livestock through the winter months in the forms of feeding, watering, examining, and tagging, operating various equipment including, but not limited to, tractors, front loaders, mowers, balers, and trucks with gooseneck cattle trailers connected; conducting the repair and maintenance of farm equipment , regularly cleaning and servicing equipment,
mixing feed, lifting bags of mineral and hay bales, spraying cattle for flies and other pests,
using hand tools around the work place as needed. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on weather conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer. Able to lift 100lbs repeatedly, able to obtain driver's license within 30 days of hire, and no fear of livestock required.
Special Requirements
Random drug testing may occur post-hire at the employers expense. These checks may be performed to ensure a safe housing and work environment for all workers.
