Job description

Cut fish for bait to be used in traps when in the ponds. Once cutting of bait is complete, they then load bait into trucks and they take it to ponds. They then use a motorized boat to check traps. The traps are removed from the pond, crawfish are emptied into sacks, 40 lbs. lifting requirement, frequent stooping & repetitive movements; then the traps are re-baited and put back into pond. Once all traps are checked, the worker then loads the crawfish sacks into truck and returns to shop. The workers then unload crawfish sacks and stores them in freezers for farmers to pick-up and bring to market. The workers then return to pond to check for broken levees and repair them where needed. Job involves frequent stooping, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements & working outside in inclement weather conditions. All tools, supplies & equipment are provided at no cost. Employees may make above hourly wage and/or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Must have legal authority to work within the U.S.
