Job description

Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Move equipment or livestock from one location to another, manually or using trucks or carts. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Grinding corn for feed. Hauling grain from terminal to feed storage facility. Pregnancy checks on cattle. Examine animals to detect illness, injury or disease, and to check physical characteristics such as rate of weight gain. Administer medications and vaccinations to cattle. Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required.
