Job description
Perform any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Working and vaccinating cattle. Feeding cattle. Opening frozen water tanks. Fencing milo fields for winter grazing . Hauling water to milo fields to cattle. Inspect livestock for illness or injuries. Snow removal. Maintaining feed equipment. Calving heifers and care for newborn calves. Bedding cattle down to keep warm. Moving cattle from stalk to calving area. On occasion, drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
