Job description
General farmhands for Crawfish, work includes: repair and maintain farm equip., shop, fields, levees, water maintenance & tractor driving. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up bait, bait traps; operate motorized boats; traps are removed from the pond, crawfish are emptied into sacks, traps are re-baited and put back into pond. Load crawfish in truck and deliver to markets and unload; frequent stooping and lifting requirement of 40lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided at no cost. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract.Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Must have legal authority to work within the U.S.
