Job description

Housekeeper – BKTT Cleaning Services

The duties/requirements of the housekeeper include, but are not limited to, thorough and
extensive cleaning of both guest accommodations and public areas in various types of vacation
rentals, such as hotels, condos, and houses. The housekeeper will dust all surfaces, clean
windows, wash walls, sanitize mirrors, and clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Stripping and
laundering all bed linens, flipping or rotating mattresses, and cleaning headboards and bed
frames. Scrubbing and disinfecting all surfaces, including tiles, grout, sinks, bathtubs, and
toilets. Floors and carpets will be vacuumed, steam cleaned, or shampooed, with hard floors
being swept and mopped. Appliances and electronics, such as telephones and remote controls,
will be cleaned and sanitized, and mini-fridges, microwaves, and coffee makers will receive
thorough cleaning inside and out. Additional tasks include emptying and sanitizing trash cans,
checking and replacing damaged items, restocking amenities, and cleaning pantries, closets,
and shelves. Porches and balconies will be swept, cleaned, and sanitized.
The housekeeper will also dust and wipe down surfaces in public areas and common spaces,
clean and polish floors, and clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors. Vacuuming hallways and
corridors, cleaning walls, baseboards, and light fixtures, and deep cleaning and sanitizing
restrooms. Fitness centers will be maintained by cleaning gym equipment, mirrors, and floors.
Dining areas will be cleaned and sanitized, including tables, chairs, and floors, while conference
and event spaces will be prepared by cleaning surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and arranging
furniture. The housekeeper needs to be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 lbs.

Special Requirements

Must be able to work weekends, holidays and rotate shifts. Must complete an employment application. Hourly work schedule shifts - 8am-4:30pm and 3pm-11:30pm.
