Job description
Under 45-2093.00: Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery only used in winter months for snow removal and feeding animals, and heated section of barn so that equipment is operational during coldest weather. Cleaning snow off of cattle feeding grounds. Clearing snow from yards and barn. Monitor water levels and stock tank heaters to ensure heated water troughs are functioning. Removing ice from water. Chopping ice in dams. Examining animals to detect weather related injuries. Moving animals for protection from winter weather.
Special Requirements
Minimum of three (3) month's of experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-60 days of hire.
