Job description

We run a cow-calf operation. Ranching duties include feeding livestock, fence and equipment maintenance, calving out cows and heifers and maintaining herd health. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: horseback riding for sorting, caring for livestock, tractor/trailer combinations. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle. Cell phones are limited to business calls only. No Texting. No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours. Employees must speak, read, write and understand English language for record keeping and safety reasons.

Special Requirements

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
