Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Moving cattle home from pastures. Moving hay home from fields and ditches including using newer JD equipment. Maintaining feed equipment. Prepping barns and fences for winter. Feeding the cattle. Pregnancy check the herd. Working and vaccinating the cattle. Herd health and treatments. Weaning the calves. Shipping calves to market. Snow removal. Opening frozen tanks. Prepping barns and lots for calving season.
Special Requirements
Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
