Job description
Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, and levees. Manually cut fish for bait; load bait into trucks; bait crawfish traps and put them in pond; operate motorized boat; traps are removed from the pond, crawfish are emptied into sacks, traps are re-baited and put back into pond; loads crawfish sacks into truck and returns to shop. repair crawfish traps as needed and rice includes tractor driving, assist with the planting & harvest; assist in rice drying operation including: upkeep, sweeping, shoveling rice, spreading rice in bins, cleaning up rice spills, leveling bins, and unloading/loading rice trucks and working outside in inclement weather conditions. 40 lbs. lifting requirement, frequent stooping & repetitive movements. All tools, supplies & equipment are provided at no cost. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract.Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone..
