Job description
A general farm worker will help with planting and harvesting of crops, raising livestock and maintaining farm equipment. Assist the farmer in anyway they can and will have knowledge of how a farm runs and what is needed in order to have a successful growing season for hay. They will plant, seed, prune, irrigate, and harvest crops, and pack and load them for shipment. Operate farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, plows, and harvesters. Perform irrigation tasks, ensuring proper water distribution and drainage. Handle livestock care, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring health. They also repair fences, shades made out of metal, and some farm equipment. Requires valid driver's license, tractor driving experience, exposure to extreme temperatures, lifting heavy materials, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, and repetitive movements.
Special Requirements
Valid driver's license with no motor vehicle violations.
