Job description
Attend to approximately 40-head of cattle in a feedlot environment, managing their feeding, health monitoring, and general care to prepare them during finishing before slaughter. Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Examine cattle to detect injury, or disease, and to check rate of weight gain. Clean stalls and equipment using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses. Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions. Move cattle on farm as needed. Maintain growth, feeding, production, and cost records. Perform other, similar tasks as needed.
