Job description
Workers will care for, feed, water, vaccinate livestock, be responsible for the maintenance of the pens, fences and water troughs. In addition, workers will also be doing general farming of hay, and other ranching duties. Daily farm and ranch duties to include plowing, planting, irrigating activities and routine maintenance of equipment and supplies. Experience operating a 85+ hp tractor and a skid-steer is preferred but not required. This is a seasonal cow/calf operation of which the employer will take care of all livestock during the off season when the herd has been thinned.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
