Job description
Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment in preparation for planting including changing oil; Set up, maintain, operate irrigation equipment for watering crops; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as cotton, wheat; Drive farm pickup; Minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
