Job description
Marking danger trees and logs to be harvested, limbing standing or downed trees. Inspecting
timber for disease and insects, and using trimming tools from ground, cut away dead or excess
branches from trees in order to maintain overall health of trees, and other work on and around
the farm as needed. May assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment used each
day.
Special Requirements
Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by the supervisor. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Employees will work under
close supervision. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. Must be able to lift 75lbs. All tools, supplies and
equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. General Specifications and Physical Requirements of the Job Work requires
repetitive movements, and the majority of time is spent on ones feet. Workers should be able to do the work required with or without
reasonable accommodations. Proper work attire is required. A copy of the work contract or a copy of the ETA 790 in lieu of a work
contract, and any modifications, will be provided to the worker on the day the work commences.
Conduct and Termination:
No use of beer or liquor is permitted during work time or during any workday before work is completed for the day (such as during meals).
