Processors will work on the hand butcher line. Will use hand and hand tools to perform routine cutting and trimming. Will wash, size and grade the seafood and load the processed seafood onto freezer baskets and into cartons for shipping.

Processors will process, freeze, case and ship products sent by our catcher boats. As a member of the processing crew, your job will be to assist in this process. Job requirements include manual handling of fish, standing for long periods of time, frequent bending and stooping, lifting up to 20 pounds waist to shoulder level, carrying/lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally, twisting frequently, working in cold and wet conditions, working in close proximity of processing machinery, availability to work long hours 7 days a week.

Days & Shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed.
Workers will be paid the equivalent of $17.14/hour for every hour worked for a minimum of 40 hours each week. Earning may increase as the worker will earn a % of the value for each overall trip.
Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage rate or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience.
Employer is offering up to 44 hours of overtime per week as needed, but not guaranteed.
Up to the first 3 weeks of employment will include at least 40 hours of on the job training.
Employment and housing are onboard the M/V Golden Alaska vessel.
Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug tests required at employers expense.
A criminal background check will be required at the employer's expense.
Must be at least 18 years of age due to Coast Guard regulations.
Employee housing is available onboard the M/V Golden Alaska vessel at no cost to the employee.
At least 12 months of prior work experience required in a similar position.
