Job description
Landscape or maintain resort grounds using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: policing grounds for trash, litter, and debris; mowing, edging; planting bed maintenance, enhancements and installation; works on the ground to prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges; spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides; maintain irrigation systems; rake sand traps, walk greens and tees; uses a weed eater to trim course. Set up golf course to include changing cup locations and tee markers daily. Top dress greens and tees, lay sod as needed. Assist golf superintendents in monitoring conditions of golf course. Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning. May drive a company vehicle or golf cart to transport crew members, plants, materials and/or tools within resort grounds.
The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week. 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Shift times vary including 5am-1pm, 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm. Workdays, hours and shifts may vary with weather and occupancy.
Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure.
Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $26.96 per hour.

Special Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop and reach.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout entire shift.
Must be able to work a flexible 5-day schedule with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Pre-employment criminal background check required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Valid drivers license preferred but not required.
