Job description
Workers will operate and maintain farm equipment and vehicles (but not limited to) tractors, tillers, combines, grain carts, grain elevators, sprayers, and other machines. Workers will operate equipment to cultivate, harvest, and seed row crops (soy, beans, and corn), load and unload trucks and grain carts, and haul crops to bins and grain elevators. Workers will mow grass, weed eat, dig ditches and wash farm equipment. Worker must have 3 months of experience of heavy equipment operation, tech or GPS navigation experience is helpful. Drug screens will be conducted upon accident or incident and will be at the cost of the employer. Failure or refusal of the drug test is grounds for immediate termination.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
