Job description
General farmhands for Crawfish. Work includes: help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate crawfish push boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs., repetitive movements, weighing, tagging, washing, grading, bagging, rolling pallets of crawfish into coolers until loading trucks and delivering to markets and unloading, repair traps, and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Hay and Livestock includes Help repair fences, maintain shop and barn, land prep, make ditches, plant rye grass, fertilize, spot spray, weed management, shred/cut & bail hay using tractor and other farm equipment. Caring for cattle: feed, medicate/vaccinate and tag newborn calves & cows as needed, wean calves, monitor progress of breeding season, strenuous labor, and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, equipment & supplies provided at no cost. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon 50% completion of the work contract. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
