Job description
Job Duties: Safely move, carry and setting up meeting rooms and dining rooms tables, chairs and buffet equipment such as airpots and urns for coffee, beverage dispensers, pitchers, chafers, and food pans. Deliver food and beverages, clean tables, remove dirty dishes, and replace soiled table linens. Set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes. Supply service/buffet/cold/hot bar with food and beverages; serve items such as water, condiments and coffee to patrons; assigned side work. Perform serving, cleaning & stocking duties. Stand & bend repetitively during shift. Follow all sanitation policies and guidelines.
Employer will offer a minimum 35 hours of work per week. Resort is open 7 days a week, workdays vary Sunday-Saturday. Rotating schedule, shift times 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm, 2pm-10pm, 3pm-11pm, and 4pm-12am (includes unpaid break). Workdays and shift times may vary with occupancy.
Special Requirements
No minimum education or experience required.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
Must be able to obtain ServSafe Food Handlers and TABC certification.
Must pass a post-employment criminal background check, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Must be able to a minimum 5-day workweek.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs. Receipts must be submitted.
Daily transportation provided to/from worksite/housing via public bus transportation, 1 bus pass is provided by the employer at no cost to employee.
The employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Uniform provided at no charge to the employee. Employer will provide on-the-job training.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
