Job description
Worker must be able to perform general farm work to include but not be limited to operating John Deere GPS guided equipment and auto-steer, must be able to operate John Deere cotton picker. Worker will maintain and repair tillage equipment, tractors, fences, barns and other buildings and equipment. Workers may perform grounds keeping around the farm and drive vehicles on the farm from fields to barns. Worker must have 3 months of verifiable experience operating GPS guided tilling and harvesting equipment. Drug screen will be performed upon accident or incidence and will be at the employers expense, no tobacco, drugs or alcohol are allowed on the work site or at the housing.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
