Job description
We operate a diversified farming operation where we farm 3500 acres of row crop including corn and soybeans. We also grow 600 acres of alfalfa hay in the summertime that we need to bale. Our farming operation also includes a feed lot, hogs and we also raise goats. We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production. Employees will need to operate farm equipment to till/prep soil, plant, spreading manure on fields, raising and harvest crops.. Employees will need to operate a mower, rake, and baler to bale alfalfa hay. Employees will also complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and assist with other farm duties as needed. Operate farm plated trucks to haul employer owned farm commodities from fields to storage. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide
performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Special Requirements
Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Require a regular drivers license. Require 3 months experience.
