Job description

Fall and harvest help. Running machinery (tractors and grain cart, augers, grain bins, drills, mowers and any other equipment used in farm operations), winter prep (cleaning up equipment, oil changes on equipment), prepping ground, drilling wheat and or rye, grain bin maintenance, shop work, and prepping irrigation wells for winter. Must be able to work 50 hours per week, keep up with a high paced family farm operation with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Must be able to speak English. Must be able to maneuver and pick up irrigation tires/tractor tires and help wherever needed. Perform duties associated with handling cattle as we do run a cow calf operation, and will be weaning and preg. checking cattle during the fall/pre-winter run; Must be able to speak and understand english.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
