Job description
Workers on this application will work on farms, performing daily chores for cattle production operations. Daily chores include general facility cleaning, maintenance, and hygienic livestock and confinement buildings upkeep. Workers will unload, sort, and move cattle as required to perform tasks. Workers will prepare for and perform the disinfection process, abiding by the safety protocols to ensure the equipment is in efficient working order. Workers will power wash the facilities following the cleaning and disinfecting processes. Assisting with the recording and maintaining accurate production records and documentation will be required. Workers must always follow all safety policies and procedures and communicate any potential hazards to the Department Lead or Manager. Workers will oversee the movement and loading of livestock for transportation. Assist in maintaining the health and wellness of livestock by administering medication and vaccinations. Routine repair work around the farm will be expected, including general maintenance of confinement buildings. Employees may repair fencing for cattle, clean barns and confinement structures, replace bedding, and move and feed the cattle. Workers will be operating tractors with various implements and skid loaders. Tools needed will be mostly hand tools and power tools and will be provided by the employer.
Special Requirements
Must have a minimum three (3) months of relative work experience.
