Job description

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Operating large GPS equipped farm machinery such as John Deere 9570RX, 8410RX & 8245R tractors with 1326 J & M grain carts for growing grain, cotton, wheat, alfalfa; operating John Deere DB60 and Fendt Momentum planters; operating tillage equipment including 29’ Landoll Coulter Chisels, John Deere 2660VT’s and other tools to cultivate, till, fertilize and plant grain crops and cotton; operating John Deere 4060R sprayers to keep fields clean during the summer months; operating John Deere S780 combines to harvest grain crops and John Deere CS690 cotton strippers to harvest cotton; operating John Deere W235 swathers, Rouse rakes, Staheli 6220 steamers in conjunction with Massey Ferguson 2290 large square balers for alfalfa hay production; operate towed machines such as seed drills, fertilizer spreaders, grain trailers/carts to plant, fertilize, store, and spray crops; mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Speak and understand english.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
