Job description
Workers will examine and sort fleece according to quality. Will estimate the weight of the fleece

determine quality. Examine fleece to determine presence of manure, straw, stains and
moisture. Place fleece in containers and mark wool grade on containers according to
government standards and quality. Will also set up grading tables and fleece containers prior
to shearing and pack up grading tables and fleece containers upon completion of shearing so
everything is ready to move to the next job site. Fleeces must be continually moving away from

important that the wool graders and the sheep shearers work in cooperation with each other
