Job description

Perform Duties such as driving and operating tractors for planting row crops, grains, and alfalfa. When the workers arrive they will feed the cattle herd by operating tractors with towed feeder wagons, and check water fountains from freezing In the spring livestock herd will be vaccinated, calves will be branded and cow /calf pairs will be moved to the pastures for the summer months. A weekly route will be done to check each pasture and deliver minerals and feed supplements. Workers will cut, rake, and bale forage for the animals. All bales will have to be hauled back to the farm for the winter supply. Maintenance will need to be done on all equipment, buildings, structures, and grounds. Strong fencing background of the existing fence. Must be able to work independently after given instructions and be able to tolerate heat conditions. Existing fences will need to be fixed in the pastures and gates and corrals will need to be maintained in the farm yard.

Employees must have a valid driver's license or be capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls of the operation only.
NO TEXTING. No smoking in equipment, vehicles, fields, or housing units. Drinking of alcoholic beverages is
prohibited during working hours and otherwise discouraged.
No Educational level is required.
Must have three months of tractor driving with towed implements and operate computerized feeder wagons with Computerized weight scales and monitors for feeding cattle.
Six months of cattle experience is necessary.
