Job description
Workers must be able to perform basic mechanic and service technician duties on diesel engines with little to no supervision. These include, but are not limited to removing, repairing, and replacing parts from agricultural machinery, servicing agricultural equipment, major engine repairs and overhauls, assembling new equipment, and preparing and delivering equipment to farmers. Other duties may include small tool work, torch welding, and other daily maintenance.
Special Requirements
Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by the supervisor. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Minimum of 12 months experience as a mechanic for industrial agriculture equipment is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. Must be able to lift 75lbs. All tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. General Specifications and Physical Requirements of the Job Work requires repetitive movements, and the majority of time is spent on ones feet. Workers should be able to do the work required with or without reasonable accommodations. Proper work attire is required. A copy of the work contract or a copy of the ETA 790 in lieu of a work contract, and any modifications, will be provided to the worker on the day the work commences.
