Job description
Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment. Split bee colonies. Feed and medicate bees. Monitor, maintain and increase bee hives. Harvest, extract and package honey. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment at the end of the season.
Special Requirements
Must be able to provide references to verify experience. Must be able to work for the entire itinerary and join the employer at any one of the locations that the employer has a crew located at that time. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively.
