Job description
Performs duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, drill, to tractor. Run sprayer and grain bin. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Put in leave gates operation. Work with poly pipe. Lubricate, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery and vehicles. Drive to town to pick up crop supplies.Crops: Corn, Rice, Soybeans
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
