Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2093 Farmworkers, Farm, Ranch, and Aquacultural Animals such as: Attend to live farm animals including cattle; Assist in birth deliveries; Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics; Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations; Feed and water livestock; Mark livestock to identify ownership using tags; Drive trucks, tractors, swathers, rakes, balers, and other equipment to harvest, stack, transport crops such as hay and to distribute feed to animals; Dig thistles and thorn trees; Hand sprig grass; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Attach implements using hand tools; Speak and understand english.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
