Job description

Farmworker position will complete the following tasks daily, to facilitate crop and cattle production. Duties include but are not limited to operating tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow, fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay and oats. May pack haul and load harvested products. Workers may assist with feeding and cattle husbandry during busy calving months. Workers will clean and maintain equipment and farm buildings, make repairs to farm equipment, and may also repair fences and participate irrigation activities. 3 months experience in related job required. This is a physically active position, workers should be in good physical condition, be able to work outside in all weather conditions, no smoking or alcohol permitted on grounds.

Special Requirements

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
