Job description

Job duties include but is not limited to:
Operate, maintain, and repair row crop equipment, including self-propelled sprayers, high
horsepower tractors, and self-propelled combines for planting, tillage, and harvest.
Be able to drain excess water from fields as well as assist with irrigation of crops including
flood irrigation and center pivots.
General maintenance as well as repairs to all farm-related equipment.
Haul grain to grain bins and the grain elevator using semi-trucks.
Be proficient in using precision agricultural equipment and monitors.
Be proficient in using a smartphone.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience is required for the job duties listed.
Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 75 lbs.
Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and repeating movements.
The Arkansas summers are extremely hot and humid and workers will be exposed to extreme temperatures.
Workers must be physically able to work in harsh conditions for extended periods of time.
Workers must obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days following hire.
The employer has a strict policy prohibiting drug use. Due to operating machinery and farm equipment, the employer will require that workers take a random drug test post-hiring at the employer's expense. Positive testing will result in termination of the employment contract.
Employer has a strict policy prohibiting smoking in farm equipment, vehicles and housing.
