Job description
We need seasonal employees to plant, spray, apply pesticides/fertilizers and harvest crops. These crops include corn, wheat, and alfalfa. Employees will help in alfalfa operation by swath, rake and pick up bales. Help with daily equipment maintenance including washing. Employees will work with irrigation equipment and systems. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer also pays 1.25 times the employee’s normal wage for any hours worked over 100 hours in a pay period. TriAg may increase the base pay rate above the federally mandated pay rate if the employee exceeds the requirements and expectations for the specified position. Bonuses may be paid on occasion when extra effort has been exhibited.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 20 lbs and walk a mile without stopping.. Employer will conduct random drug test at no cost to the employee since it is a drug free workplace. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to obtain a regular driver's license. Require 3 months experience.
