Job description
We need seasonal help with our grain and crop production. Employees will need to assist with all aspect of raising corn and beans. In the spring this will include field preparation, tilling and planting the crop. In the summer employees will need to assist with spraying and caring for the crop during the growing season and in the fall, employees will need to assist with harvesting and hauling the crop. Employees operate farm equipment including tractors, sprayers, and other farm equipment. Job also requires picking rocks in the fields. Employees will need to drive semi-trucks to haul the crops. Complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and trucks. During the summer employees will need to also assist with yard work including mowing and yard maintenance around buildings. Complete routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings to assist with upkeep. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employees must have a regular drivers license. We require 3 months of experience.
