Job description
Performs farming operations such as seeding the crop and helping harvest running a combine, grain cart or truck. Will need the ability to transport grain to elevator in semi truck pulling a grain trailer. Ability to load grain into trailer and cleaning out grain bins.
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock such as moving, sorting, doctoring, feeding, and calving. Will be responsible for checking cows during calving, which may include night checks. Ability to repair fences. Operate/drive a loader tractor to feed cows and haying equipment including swather, baler, or rake. Lifting requirement of 100 lbs.
Special Requirements
To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (class D) within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record.
