Job description

Rich Custom Farms is owned and operated by the third generation and we are located in southeast Iowa. We raise corn, soybeans, hay and hogs. We run several different brands of machinery including John Deere, Fendt, Hagie and Claas. We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production side of our business. This includes operating farm equipment including combines, tractors and sprayers. Employees will need to mow and bale round hay bales. Operate and tend planter/sprayer with seed and chemicals. Empty and deliver grain to grain bins. Haul harvested crops from fields to grain bins. Employees will be required to clean and power wash equipment and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. This will include working in the workshop and cleaning and organizing the workshop.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, frequent stooping, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. Require a regular drivers license. Require a clear MVR and employment reference. Must be able to communicate in English. Requires 3 months experience
