Farm Worker

Job description

Separate fish based on size and health for different rearing stages; Regularly test water parameters like temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia levels; Dispense appropriate feed to fish according to their developmental stage; Observe fish for signs of disease and administer necessary treatments if needed; Clean tanks, ponds, and other hatchery equipment; Track fish populations, growth rates, and other relevant data; Transport and release mature fish into natural waters; Drive tractors.

Flexible shifts in that employees rotate working nights and Sundays. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field/pond conditions.

Special Requirements

Must be able to drive pickup trucks and tractors.
