Job description
Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Crops: Corn, Soybeans, and Wheat.
Special Requirements
To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (class D) within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record.
