Job description
Entry level, no experience required, work under close supervision.
Landscape or maintaining grounds of properties using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, sod laying, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, weed maintenance, gather and remove litter. May spray or apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, weed preventers, common horticulture products and post-emergency treatments, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders; haul and install much and soil; prime shrubs and small trees; pick up and dispose of litter and plant debris; common maintenance; sprinkler installation and maintenance. May operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. May prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. May do other landscape or grounds keeper work as necessary.
