Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: Water the crops during the watering season. On downtime, workers will be expected to drive and operate farm machinery to plant, mow and use weed eater, general cleaning of work place (i.e. work shops, grain bins, etc.), trash removal to dumpster, cultivate, pipe replacement, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine and sprayer. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.

Crops: Beans, Rice, Wheat, Corn

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
