Job description
Breeding queen bees for honey production maintain colony health trough feeding/supplemental aid; find and cage queens honey bees, install queen cells; split colonies for growth. assembles bee hives and frames. extract and cut comb/;liquid honey must be able to lift 75 pounds during extraction. operate lift tractor for transporting of honey and colonies. operate lift tractor for transportation of honey and colonies. operate weed removal equipment. driving farm vehicle for supplies, operate applicable beekeeping and extracting equipment. clean up organize and stack unused equipment. upkeep beekeeping equipment and work area . 3 months work experience required.
Special Requirements
Exposure to extreme temp, lifting 75 lbs, repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping.
