Job description
Workers will perform various tasks involved in the operation of a truck farm that is a farm that grows a variety of
fruits and vegetables normally grown in PA. Field crops shall include sweet corn , tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers,
cabbage, potatoes, broccoli, beets, gourds, pumpkins and ornamental corn. Workers will be required to perform a
number tasks done by hand that are generally involved in the production of these crops such as weeding, planting,
pruning, staking and harvesting
Special Requirements
Some agricultural crops like tomatoes, green beans, and lettuce may require bending down or repetitive movements while planting and harvesting. Breaks are given when workers request them while doing these tasks.
