Job description

We are looking for experienced calving help. Night calve in all weather conditions. There will be about 350 heifers. responsible for keeping barn clean, work with others as needed. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; clean work areas;
tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, and electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: box sorting equipment, horseback riding for sorting, caring for livestock, pickups, cars, etc. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, hay. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
