Job description
General farmhands for Rice, Soybeans, Corn, & Cattle. Work includes: Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads; field prep, moderate amount of shovel labor required, water maintenance, planting & harvesting of crops, driving tractor, pulling red rice by hand, assist with shipment of grain & sweeping bins. Cattle to include: repair fences when needed, vaccinate and wean calves from the mom & getting them ready to be sold to market; feed, water & maintain animal housing area. Must be in good physical condition; working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, equipment & supplies provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon 50% completion of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone.. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
