Job description
Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul buses and trucks, or maintain and repair any type of diesel engines. Includes mechanics working primarily with automobile or marine diesel engines. Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul various types of construction equipment powered by diesel engines. Which will consist of routine maintenance and preventive maintenance along with major repairs. The work will be located both indoors in a shop and outdoors.
Special Requirements
ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS, SOME OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE safety and MSHA training. Experience diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, or overhauling trucks, or maintain and repair any type of diesel engines. Includes mechanics working primarily with bulldozers, graders, and excavators. Hours may vary between 6 am and 7 pm. 8 hour shifts.
