Job description
Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards. Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for restaurant, banquet and associate functions. Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications. Maintain standards of sanitation and adhere to food safety regulations. Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc. Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Please Note: Under the anticipated days and hours of work per week, we provided an example of a work schedule. Our business is open 7 days a week so the days and hours worked will vary.
Special Requirements
Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds including stocking shelves above eye level. Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked. Position requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a face paced environment.
