Job description
Duties consist of providing busser-related services as needed, including carrying trays of food and drinks from the kitchen to the dining room; bringing to-go orders from the kitchen to the host stand; clearing tables of dirty dishes; assisting with general cleaning tasks; helping prepare the restaurant for daily service; with other related duties; providing hosting-related services as needed, including greeting/seating guests; advising guests on table wait times; providing menus; assigning guests to appropriate tables based on guest needs and server rotations; responding to guest comments/complaints/requests; and handling phone calls, phone orders, and reservations.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 30 lbs.; must be able to stand and walk on flat or inclined surfaces for long periods of time; must speak, read, and write in English fluently.
Note regarding F.a.5A-H, F.a.6a.-6b.:A typical work week consists of 35 hours per week or more. (Note: The total number of 56 hours per week indicated above is misleading, due to the entry of 8 hours for each day of the week into the form, which is necessary because, with shifts typically lasting up to 8 hours, and variations in days off, workers may end up working on any day of the week and there is no specific day when a worker is guaranteed not to work. This position is for 35 or more (35+) hours per week as indicated in the job order). Shifts available/assigned: Monday through Sunday (2 days off, varies), shifts start as early as 10:00 a.m. and end as late as 11:59 p.m. (multiple shifts available, varies).
