Job description

Perform manual labor to landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Lay sod, mow, trim, plant, water, dig, rake, haul and shovel. Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes, Mow and edge/trim lawns, using power mowers and edgers. Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots and spread salt in those areas. Care to established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls. Water lawns, trees, and plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. Haul or spread topsoil and spread straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place. Trim and pick flowers and clean flower beds. Decorate gardens with stone and plants. Rake, mulch and compost leaves. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears, pruners, or chainsaws on the ground. Attach wires from planted trees to support stakes. Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs and apply mulch for protection using gardening tools, Gather and remove litter. Workers who have a valid driver's license may drive vehicles to transport workers.

Special Requirements

Post-Accident Drug Testing, Able to lift 50lbs, Work outdoors, in extreme temperatures, and in adverse weather, Monday-Friday, some Saturdays required, start/end times may vary, overtime varies.
