Job description

Movers will be responsible for packing, unpacking, disassembling, re-assembling, loading and unloading furniture, equipment, and other belongings on and off trucks and in and out of residential homes, businesses, buildings, and warehouses without causing damage to real or personal property.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am to 3:00pm, or 8:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Please note: the employer’s customer locations are homes and other buildings where Movers load and unload client belongings. Stops at these locations are brief, with the majority of duties completed in less than one day and workers typically travelling to multiple sites in the same workday. Therefore, under recent BALCA rulings (see, e.g., ATP Agri-Services Inc., 2019-TLN-00149 (Oct. 2, 2019)), the customer locations are not worksites for purposes of the H-2B application.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience in a professional setting involving moving or physical labor.
